The SPiiPlus Control Module (CM) combines an advanced programmable motion controller, up to three digital drives, and a power supply in a single standalone package.
The integrated drives are software configurable for AC servo/DC brushless or DC brush motors. The number of controlled axes can be increased to eight by using DC brush drives and motors controlled via the HSSI network, or external stepper (indexer) drives and motors.

Hexapod Motion Controller
The SPiiPlus SA is an advanced two, four, six or eight axes stand-alone motion controller, that combines the powerful SPiiPlus control architecture with simple and convenient connectivity interface of D-Type connectors. The latter streamlines the connectivity to the application’s drivers, encoders, I/Os and communication bus. The SPiiPlus SA drive commands are analog +/-10V, supporting DC brush, AC servo/DC brushless or Nanomotion piezo-ceramic motors. Half of the axes provide Pulse-Direction drive commands. The SPiiPlus SA supports digital encoder feedback and Sin-Cos encoder feedback with frequency of up to 2.5MHz, and interpolation factor of up to 65,536. The SPiiPlus SA supports host communication via RS-232 and Ethernet TCP/IP.
